Yurist Gosposhlina

Yurist Gosposhlina is a family of free apps for estimating Russian state duty before you file. It answers a daily question for counsel, representatives and applicants: how much to pay on a property claim, and how that figure changes for a court order, an appeal, consumer relief, or a change in claim value.

The apps cover courts of general jurisdiction and arbitrazh courts under Tax Code Chapter 25.3. The line runs on Windows, macOS, iOS, iPad and Android. Feature sets vary by platform; the list below is the series as a whole.

What it is for

Duty is due before a claim, a court-order application, an appeal, or an increase of the claim. The calculator applies the chosen edition of the law so you do not have to rebuild the scale by hand and can see a top-up, a refund, or each party’s share.

Calculations in the series

• Simple — claim value to duty; compare general and arbitrazh courts, a claim and a court order.
• With parameters — court, instance, court order, consumer protection, payer type, and a step-by-step formula.
• Surcharge or refund — the duty difference when the claim value rises or falls.
• Allocation — who reimburses duty and legal costs after the outcome.
• Reverse — from duty already paid back to claim value.
• Batch — a list of claims becomes a list of duties and a total.
• Reference and optional AI — some builds include a Tax Code digest and an optional assistant; the app still does the math, not the model.

Parameters the calculation can use

• court of general jurisdiction (including magistrates) or an arbitrazh court;
• first instance, appeal, cassation, and the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation;
• a court-order application — typically 50% of claim duty, with claim-value caps;
• consumer-protection relief in courts of general jurisdiction;
• payer as an individual or a legal entity, where fixed appeal amounts depend on that;
• several editions of the law: the current one from 9 September 2024, the 2005–2024 scale, and a historical edition for older cases.

Duty is rounded to whole roubles. The app warns if the claim value exceeds the court-order limits.

The current Android build is on Google Play: no subscription, no in-app purchases and no time limit. Core calculations run on the device. A free build for macOS, iPhone and iPad is on the App Store.
